Discover the Niagara Benchlands Wineries, a group of wineries in West Niagara. Each produces authentic, unique wines and is collaborating to bring you unforgettable wine-country experiences.

The Niagara Peninsula VQA Appellation is divided into three regional appellations: the Niagara Escarpment, West Niagara and Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Niagara Benchlands Wineries are nestled within the West Niagara and Niagara Escarpment regional appellations.

Stretching from Lake Ontario in the north, the top of the Niagara Escarpment in the south, and from Grimsby to Twelve Mile Creek in St Catharines, this area represents rich and diverse soils and unique meso climates which provide optimal growing conditions for producing exceptional cool climate wine grapes.

This dynamic new not-for-profit registered association is dedicated to promoting and enhancing awareness of the Niagara Benchlands’ wine region as a unique and authentic wine country destination.  In its inaugural year, the organization is pleased to have thirty-one member wineries, all eager to share their globally acclaimed wines and passionate stories with both domestic and international visitors.

You can visit any time of the year, as this group is always enthusiastic about showcasing the distinct terroir, high-quality vineyards, and the craftsmanship of the local winemakers, ensuring guests have a memorable and satisfying wine-tasting experience.
